Gymfest of the
Berkshires' gymnasts won 9 individual Massachusetts State
Championships over the past few weeks. From left to right:
Level 5 gymnast Jaidyn LaBeau, of Dalton, won an individual
State Championship on the uneven bars with a score of 9.2.
Level 5 gymnast Emily Kolis, of Windsor, won an individual
State Championship on vault with a score of 9.4.
Prep Optional Intermediate gymnast Madeline Gaskill, of
Hancock won an individual State Championship on the uneven bars with
a score of 9.25.
Level 5 gymnast Michael Brophy, of Pittsfield, won an
individual State Championship on high bar with a score of 15.3.
Prep Optional Intermediate gymnast April Foley, of
Bennington, VT, won an individual State Championship on vault with a
score of 9.375.
Level 6 gymnast Nina Ricci, of Lee, won an individual State
Championship on vault with a score of 9.4, on floor with a score of
9.675 and all around with a score of 37.075.
Level 4 gymnast Hailey Pickard, of Pittsfield, won an
individual State Championship on on the uneven bars with a score of
9.7.

2010 STATE CHAMPION
Gymnast Nina Ricci,
of Lee, won three individual State Championships in the Level 6
State Championships held in Holyoke, MA on May 8th and 9th. Nina
scored a 9.4 on vault to win her first state championship, a 9.675
on floor to win her second state championship, a 37.075 all-around
score to win her third state championship. She also scored a 9.0 on
balance beam, placing 3rd and a 9.0 on bars placing 2nd.

2010 STATE CHAMPION
Gymnast Michael
Brophy, of Pittsfield, won a State Championship in the Level 5
State Championships held in Sterling, MA on March 20th. Michael
scored a 15.3 on high bar to win his state championship. He also
scored a 13.8 on pommel horse, a 12.8 on floor, a 13.2 on still
rings, 14.0 on parallel bars and an all-around score of 83.40.

2010 STATE CHAMPION
Gymnast April Foley,
of Pownal, VT, won a State Championship in the Prep Optional
Intermediate State Championships held in Stow, MA on May 15th and
16th. April scored a 9.375 on vault to win her stat47th, a 9.1 on
floor and an all-around score of 36.575, placing 2nd.

2010 STATE CHAMPION
Gymnast Madeline
Gaskill, of Hancock, won a State Championship in the Prep
Optional Intermediate State Championships held in Stow, MA on May
15th and 16th. Madeline scored a 9.25 on the uneven bars. She also
scored a 9.15 on floor, placing 7th, a 9.225 on vault, placing 4th,
an 8.6 on balance beam and an all-around score of 36.225, placing
2nd.

Championships held in Holyoke, MA on May 8th and 9th. Emily scored a
9.4 on vault to win her state championship. She also scored a 8.7 on
bars, placing 5th, a 8.975 on floor, placing 5th, a 9.1 on balance
beam, placing 4th, and an all-around score of 36.175, placing 3rd.

Gymnast Jaidyn
LaBeau, of Dalton, won a State Championship in the Level 5 State
Championships held in Holyoke, MA on May 8th and 9th. Jaidyn scored
a 9.2 on the uneven bars to win her state championship. She also
scored a 9.75 on balance beam, placing 2nd, a 9.05 on floor, placing
8th, a 9.075 on vault, placing 5th, and an all-around score of
36.775, placing 3rd.

Gymnast Hailey
Pickard, of Pittsfield, won a State Championship in the Level 4
State Championships held in Ayer, MA on May 1st and 2nd. Hailey
scored a 9.7 on the uneven bars to win her state championship in her
first year of competition. She also scored a 9.5 on vault, placing
2nd, a 9.0 on floor, placing 7th, an 8.75 on balance beam and an
all-around score of 36.95, placing 5th.
